Youth in Bluegrass Competition

When: 

Contest: May 18, 2024 (all day)
Dress Rehearsal & Party: May 17
Where: Branson Event Center
 

Details: 

• 20 Bands will be accepted

• Band members must be 21 years of age or younger (parents can participate but youth must take the lead)

• Deadline to submit band application is March 1st

• Qualified bands will be notified by March 15th and will receive detailed contest rules and sample ballots.

• Because this will be the 1st year that OMMA is hosting, previous 1st place winners can enter.

 

PRIZES: 

1st - $2,500 | 2nd - $2,000 | 3rd- $1,500 | 4th - $1,000 | 5th - $500
 

Additional Opportunities: 

Several colleges with Bluegrass programs will be there to offer scholarships, including Bethel University, who will be offering up to ten $75,000 scholarships to age appropriate contestants.

 

The Station Inn is offering the winning band the opportunity to play on their world-famous stage during their 50th Anniversary year of 2024.
